Keith Cavanaugh, has covered the Terps since 1988 and Ralph Friedgen’s football program since the coach’s 2000 arrival at College Park. Cavanaugh is editor and publisher of Terrapin Times magazine, an independent publication covering University of Maryland athletics. Cavanaugh resides in Bel Air, Md., with his wife Kelley, son Jack and daughter Madie.
Ralph Friedgen, national coach of the year in 2001, has led the Maryland football program’s remarkable turnaround since being named head coach in 2000. Friedgen has taken the Terps to four bowl games in six years, including the BCS Orange Bowl during his first season. He is a former Maryland football player and assistant coach. Ralph and his wife Gloria and daughters Kelley, Kristina and Katie reside in Silver Spring, Md.
